Berkshire Beaders

A beading group based in Reading, Berkshire, who meet regularly once a month and for occasional workshops.

When do Berkshire Beaders meet?

All meetings are between 7:00 and 9:30pm, on the fourth Monday of each month - unless that day is a Bank Holiday, or too close to Easter, Christmas or New Year.

This page will display meetings for January to March, April to June, July to September or October to December, as we decide on what we'll do three months in advance.

First meeting is free!

Would you like to come along to a meeting? Please do!

You can come along to one meeting for free before deciding whether you would like to become a member. Just turn up and introduce yourself!

Meetings for October to December 2017

Monday 23 October, 7:00 - 9:30pm: AGM, Beadworkers Guild, UFO evening Voting for the committee and changes to the Constitution. Plus a visit from Ruth Vickery of the Beadworkers Guild bringing items from the BWG display for us to admire. And… if anyone has any time - a UFO evening.

Monday 27 November, 7:00 - 9:30pm: Catherine’s Christmas Bauble Based on the central bead of this year's 'Secret Beadalong' project by Jean Power. The example in the photo looks pointy, but it can be made more rounded. Either way it could make a nice Christmas decoration with suitably festive beads. You will need size 11 seed beads in Christmassy colours. Nymo or Fireline plus the usual beady supplies. Can also be made using cylinder beads (Delicas).

December: No meeting!

November project: Catherine’s Christmas Bauble

Monday evening dates for 2018

Please note we now meet on the fourth Monday of each month!
